This in-the-hoop project is a fun way to decorate your home for Christmas. After stitching out, simply slide each banner piece onto a length of satin ribbon. You can add letters or designs from your embroidery machine to personalize if desired!
This is an easy banner all done in the hoop with step-by-step instructions to guide you. You are hooping stabilizer only, appliqueing your fabrics and adding font or designs (if desired) over the top, applying backing fabric behind your hoop, finishing the edges and ribbon holes and trimming away the stabilizer. This banner pieces slide onto ribbon 5/8″ wide.
PLEASE NOTE: This design is TOP HEAVY and may tip forward. Glue a coin (or heavy button) low on the back of the banner piece to weight it. Not necessary if using as a gift tag.
IDEAS:
– Stitch a row of reindeer with brown noses only one with a red nose.
– Use as keepsake gift tags (see the 4th image).
