Countdown Chain ITH Project

Using your fabric scraps this countdown chain in the hoop project becomes a delightful way to count down the days in anticipation of a special day!  Or you can use it as a chain garland, adding a colorful touch to your child’s decor!  You can even tie the pieces around your dinner napkins!

This fun two-sided project is all done in the hoop with easy to follow step-by-step instructions to guide you. You are hooping stabilizer only, appliqueing your fabric over the top, adding a font from your personal files (if desired) applying backing fabric behind your hoop, finishing the edges and cutting away the stabilizer.

You receive two file variations: Satin Stitch edge finish or a Raw Edge finish.  You can use one or the other or mix them up for a fun look.

7 sizes – 4″, 5″, 6″, 7″, 8″, 9″ and 10″
PICTURED is the 7″ size.
NB. The 4” size is set on the diagonal for maximum sizing within in the hoop.

Exact sizes:
4×4 hoop – 3.91″ x 3.91″ (actual stitch out measures 4.66” x .86”)
5×7 hoop – 5″ x .92″, 6″ x 1.09″ and 7″ x 1.25″
6×10 hoop – 8″ x 1.40″, 9″ x 1.57″ and 10″ x 1.72″
